Running Mac OS 9 under Leopard

When Apple released Mac OS X 10.5, they removed the ability to run Classic (Mac OS 9) applications. However there are emulators out there that can run all kinds of operating systems. Don't believe me? Run on over to MacUpdate and search for "emulator".

The only emulator that I know of that can run Mac OS 9 is SheepShaver.  It can be a bit tricky to set up, and it's not the most stable application, and it hasn't been updated in a few years, but it does work. Here is a screen shot of SheepShaver's home page, displayed in the Mozilla browser, running under Mac OS 9.0.4, emulated by SheepShaver, running on my Intel iMac under Mac OS X 10.5.6.
