December 2010 Apple Software Updates

Happy New Year!

Here is a list of some of Apple's software updates for the month of December, 2010. For the complete list, visit Apple - Support - Downloads, or for non-Apple software I recommend MacUpdate.

An early reminder: The date of the next NCC-Mac meeting is confirmed for Thursday January 27, 2011. That’s the last Thursday of the month, as usual.

If you have an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.5 or later, be sure to come to this meeting. An old acquaintance has donated three copies of his company’s software for door prizes.

iPhone Configuration Utility 3.2 for Mac OS X
iPhone Configuration Utility lets you easily create, maintain, encrypt, and install configuration profiles, track and install provisioning profiles and authorized applications, and capture device information including console logs.

iPhoto 9.1.1
This update adds new email options to iPhoto '11. It also improves overall stability and addresses a number of other minor issues.

AirPort Base Station and Time Capsule Firmware Update 7.5.2
This update provides bug fixes for all 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Stations, AirPort Express Base Stations, and Time Capsules.

Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.5
This update adds RAW image compatibility to Aperture 3 and iPhoto '11.

AirPort Utility 5.5.2 for Mac
This update contains bug fixes and improvements.

LED Cinema Display Firmware Update 1.0
This Firmware Update addresses intermittent audio issues some users have experienced while using the 27-inch LED Cinema Display.

iTunes 10.1.1
This release provides a number of important bug fixes.

Canon Printer Drivers v2.4.1 for Mac OS X v10.6
This update installs the latest software for your printer or scanner.

FujiXerox Printer Drivers v2.1 for Mac OS X v10.6
This update installs the latest software for your printer or scanner.

Lexmark Printer Drivers v2.3.1 for Mac OS X v10.6
The Lexmark Printer Driver Update includes the latest drivers for printers you have used on your system.

Aperture 3.1.1
This update addresses overall stability and performance issues. The update is recommended for all users of Aperture 3.

MacBook Air EFI Firmware Update 2.0
This update is recommended for MacBook Air (11-inch and 13-inch, late 2010) models.
